Life is a series of decisions and the ripple effects caused by said decisons.
Since we do not exist in isolation it is super important to consider how our actions and inactions interact with the journeys of others. Because If life is transient and yet connected and if we are all a part of a bigger picture then it is important to exist with intention.
Living cannot be a passive endeavour, life cannot just happen to us or else we are just existing.
So, today on very cliche questions- What is your why?
Not just for business or branding or any of those things; for being.
Why do you present the way you do in your world, your sphere of influence and being?
What informs your decisions, your actions, your thought process and all of that?
‘Why?’ Is the most important question we should be asking and not only to everyone around us. I believe it is the most important question we should be asking of ourselves.
It is within this question that we find purpose, direction and a discovery of self. It is on this journey we can self actualise.
The beauty of “Why?” Is that it is ever changing and so if we are committed to checking in on ourselves frequently we are bound to find and do beautiful things.
The greatest work we will do will come when the question “Why?” has found an answer.
The most satisfying lives will be lived on backs of an answered why, and so will the most fulfilling relationships.
Take a moment after reading this to pause and ask yourself why?
Why are you in the job you’re in?
Why do you create the type of content you create?
Why is your product valuable?
Why should we invest in your idea?
Why do you live where you do?
Why are you in community with the people you engage with?
Why do you believe the things you believe?
Why are you with your partner?
I hope you find the conviction to push forward from these answers, and if the answer tells you to pivot – I hope you do just that as well.
Yours Truly,
Oiza
